Circuit race in Arcè di Pescantina

Yesterday I took part at a race in Pescantina (Verona) organized by Team Girelli-Ciclomania from Bussolengo.

The circuit was quiet fast and not very technical but with a short steep climb in the last km with an uphill finish.

We arrived at place around 10am exactly when the older guys were gonna taken off.







After getting the numbers and getting some warm up around the circuit, we took off as well.



Mirko Allegrini, ex Panaria, was there as well and he made right from the start the escape of the day with 2 other guys.
They didn't gain much but we never saw them again.



The race went on with many attacks until 3 laps to go when I was able to go away with a group of about 10 guys.



My friend Alex was tired from his saturday TT where he placed 3rd and didn't make the escape.






At the end Sergio Renato (Team Carrera) won while Allegrini placed 2nd.



I could barely hang out on my group and got a final 9th placing.
